What is a tuner ? I know genrally what they are used for but I honestly have no clue... any help ?

A flash tuner is a device that can store and transfer engine calibrations to the PCM through the Data Link Connector under the dash of OBDII-compliant vehicles. It can substitute a custom calibration for the factory one and revert back to stock if necessary.
