This guy in an early model Ranger was there. It hada 302 with lots of mods. When he hit second gear it would snatch the left front off the ground. It was CRAZY!!!:eek:

It was green...short bed, reg cab. In Dallas, GA. He was running in the 8's in 8th mile. Very fun to watch...... He was hooking sooo hard...:ooer: :ooer: :smurf:

I thought about running my four banger. It was test and tune night. I might just do it next weekend. OUght to make for a good laugh on the timeslip. Hehehe There was this red mustang notchback running in the 6's. 10.5 inch tire, spraying nos. It was pretty quick. That ranger was just really cool though. high 10's to low 11's, usually in the 120-125mph range.

I guess those 10's and 11's dont compare to my 18's in the 70-75 mph range....i think my next mod is to add a few cylinders...u guys got any extras layin around?

dont feel to bad about your 4banger,there is a guy here where i live that runs 22s,lucky for him it is bracket racing

Yeah but it's been quite a while. Not much spare time anymore trying to run 2 series. It was probably sometime in '01 when we were there last, probably running 7.30's or so back then.
