I just bought a new toy, a 1984 bronco 2. My question is simple are the any valve cover replacments for this truck and if so who makes these? I'm Also interested in some headers, they don't have to be fancy. plan to 4 wheel with it so any mods I can do with help tons good lifts anything. Websites with info like I said anything. I am used to messing with suzuki samurais so this is a switch! Thanks for any help again

No aftermarket valve covers available for the 2.8/2.9 engines. As far as headers go I know for sure that Hedman makes some, not sure about the other companys(JBA, Pacesetter)...

As for the headers, edelbrock makes some, or did. You see some on ebay pretty regularly. Of course you can also get the shorty headers from an 86 Aerostar with the 2.8 as well. There are some old aftermarket valve covers out there, that aren't made anymore, but they're hard to find. Also, on the european 2.8 and 2.9 they had some pretty nice stock aluminum covers. Look on ebay uk and you should see some, although they usually sell for a good bit. You could also chrome your stockers, those always look nice. You'll also see 4 barrel offy intakes on ebay pretty regularly, I have one listed on there right now. Hope this helps.
