I just bought this 83 bronco II with a 2.8 Liter V6 and while messing around under the hood I notice that there seemed to be something missing from the driver side of it. It's a lever with a spring that gets pushed on when the thottle is about half in but it ties to nothing?!?!?! If anyone has this same carb or any infomation please help I would love to see a picture If i could I could also send a pic of mine if anyone cares for that route!?! Thanks

Does the truck have a MT or AT transmission? I could get a pic posted tomorrow, my truck has a AT.

could be like a kickdown cable or maybe a link to kick on secondaries if it has them. I don't know. Maybe look at the tranny. Do you see a cable that goes from the carb (if it is an auto) to the tranny?
