Thought I would put this link here for anyone that wants to put a beefer automatic transmission in place of the A4LD that comes in the late 80's to mid 90's rangers and the 91-94 explorers, its a kit to put a GM (2.8 type)700R4 in place of the ol A4LD behind the 4.0,and the 700R4's can be beefed up cheaply if going hi performance.:blahblah:

Are you guys getting problems with the A4LD because you're trying to make your trucks performance oriented, or what? I have it and have had no trouble with it at all.
