ok i'm buyin the bronco2 4by4 with the 4 inch lift and its clean as a whistle and it runs good all for 400 dollars. now the problem is that the trannys bad. i need to know if anyone has one they will sell me or how much do u think i can buy one for?? or how much do u think it would cost to rebuild it?? oh and its a 5 speed but i dunno which one :( if yall can help me it would be appreciated

Is a Ranger tansmission (2wd) the same as the 4wd with a tail shaft in stead of the transfer case?

ok so what do i need to do?? buy a 2wd tranny and put it in or what?? i thought they were different

If you get a 2wd, you'll need to change out the tailshaft to your transfer case.

No it's not hard. 4 to 5 bolts and a gasket, pop the tail shaft off and slide the transfer case on.

well me and my dad decided that we are'nt gonna buy the b2 cuz its been sittin there for about 4 years and 400 is as low as he will come and a used tranny for it will cost 550 and thats a 2wd 5 speed and thats the lowest price we found. since were not goin to get it i'd just like to say thanxs for all of yalls help and i might get me one later so ttyl guys and thanxs
