I just went to autozone.com, looking for new wheel bearings... (I repacked mine, but I still get some vibration when turning)

They asked me if I have a spicer 35 or spicer 28 axle... how do I tell?

I know I have a '95 4.0 4X4 Ext.cab...

Any help would be appreciated..

It's a Dana (Spicer) 35. ALL 4.0 Rangers and all Explorers have the D35 up front.

Thanks JW...

BTW does anybody know if I will need a special Tool to tighten these things back down? or can I just use a 6 point 2 3/8" socket? I tried an endwrench the first time, but it would slip and didn't work too well..

Thanks again,

They make a special socket for it. If you have a 2 3/8 socket that would work fine. Do you know how much torque to use on them?
