Im posting this on this board b/c everyone that goes here owns or has owned either one of the years.

Gotta pick up a new bumper and was wondering if a newer one would fit because it 'wraps around' the fender. From the looks of the bumpers it looks like it MIGHT scrape against my fender or will not fit at all because the fender is in the way.

It'll fit if you either convert your front clip to a Gen II front end or trim the bottom of your fenders.

Did you trim your fenders for your new bumper cover or is it made for gen 1's?

Actually it's made for 83-92 Rangers. It fits right up against my fenders but after I do the front end swap it'll fit even better.

Are going to swap to the gen 2 front end? What are you going to do with your hood?

Yeah I'm swappin' a Gen II front clip. I'm gonna sell my hood after I get all the new clip parts. Also be getting a 6" cowl hood. :)

Let me know when you're done with it, I'd be very interested in buyng it. I most likely wont be ready to paint mine untill April, so hurry up and get to work!LOL

Well it's in black primer right now. I'm hoping I can get $400 plus shipping out of it since I payed close to $550 for it with shipping. I may end up putting it on eBay, I don't know yet.
