i was wondering what 5 speed trans is in a 88 4 cyl and would it be able to be mounted to a 302 and would it hold thanks adam

Those transmissions (Mazda M5OD, I think) are really only good to 250hp from what I read. I would get a T-5, T-5 World Class, or TKO 500 something along those lines for you 302.

It won't mount up to a 302 you'd have to adapt it.

But like said above, get a t5 or something along those lines.

if you have the money i would get a tremec instead of a t-5 they are basically unbreakable from what my buddy with a mustang says
