Thought I'd throw this out there It can be deleted if it's total common knowledge but I haven't seen much about it thus far. I'm about to do some work regarding my clutch on my 01 and went to ford just to get some prices. They priced me a slave cylinder for 100 bucks plus tax or i could get a clutch kit from them for 250 bucks the kit [B]Includes the Slave Cylinder[B] as well as all the other needed parts. That price actually beats Advance and Autozone as they don't include the slave with their kits. I had to order one and it will be next day shipped to the dealership I called a guy in with a ford garage to see if what I was told by another dealership was accurate. At first he didn't think that $250 included the slave so he opened the kit and it does.

I just wanted to advertise this a bit in case anyone else was in the market for a new clutch.

The total price of the slave, throwout, pilot bearing, clutch disk, pressure plate, with all of the alignment tools and disconnect tool for the slave for $257.32

Sounds like an awesome deal! Especially for genuine Ford components!

I have the lifetime clutch and slave cylinder deal from AutoZone from a while back so I just bring my old parts in and give my info and it's all good. The only clutch part not covered by the lifetime warranty is my master cylinder.

And yes, it did cost more then $250.00
