I had my transfer case rebuilt about 6 months ago and something isn't right. It is the borg warner electric shift one of course, 01 Ranger. The 4x4 engages fine, no noise or anything, 4x4low also works fine. The problem is two things, one it no lie takes like 3-5 min for my truck to disengage the 4x4. After I switch it off and even stop, put it in neutral, push the clutch in, or continue to drive. it doesn't take it out of 4x4...Second thing I noticed was a lot of noise coming from the t-case, when I get on it pretty good it shakes my truck pretty good and is really loud, driving slow though seems ok, just alot louder than normal, think I hear a sort of whining too when I roll the window down. Where is a good place to get a NEW one...other than the dealer?

You sure you dont have a bad ujoint as far as the shaking and noise is concerned.
