hey guys, my 99 daily started making a very high pitched squealing noise the other day, sounds almost like a bad wheel bearing. I am pretty new to owning a 4x4 vehicle, but there is no play in the hubs or the axle shafts. Is it possible i have a bad cv joint? maybe a bearing in my axle is worn out? i also checked the brakes as it sounded like a rock stuck in the caliper kind of squeal but both sides were fine. I put the truck on blocks and ran it in 4x4 and it omly does it in forward, put it in reverse and no squeal. any ideas? thank in advance for any help

That's a weird one. Does it happen going only straight? Turning? All the time?

The backing plate on the front rotors didnt get hit with something and plates rubbing on rotors are they. How about jacking truck up and turning each wheel by its self.

Is it coming from the front or rear??

i did jack it up but turning them by hand isnt enough to hear the noise, the noise starts from say 7mph or so. it didnt do it today though so go figure, it is defintely coming from the front end
