My name is Shane. I go by SHO Shane cus I use to really be into SHO's.

I just picked it up lastnight. Its a 1985 LWB Ranger. It has a 5.0 out of 95 GT. Motor is all stock. Its also running the stock AOD out of the 95 GT. The motor trans setup has 69K on it so it will be a good motor to start mod'ing soon. It has been swaped over to a Carb setup using a 2 barrell intake (im not sure what its off of) and a 2 barrell stock carb off a 85 LTD.

Im not sure but to me isnt this carb setup way to small for this motor? Wound'nt it run better with a nice intake and a 4 barrell carb?

Ok keep going, The powersteering and alternator brackets and all are off a 91 Thunderbird. The waterpump id also off a 91 Thunderbird with a clutch fan to keep it cool. Also to keep it cool is running a 4 core rad out of the LMC web site.

Its running the stock rearend with 345 gears and 95 GT Rear Disc Brakes. Only other thing thats off is the driveshaft is a one piece off a 85 LTD.

Agreed, But the DJM I Beems are 450.00 for my truck and I care about performance more then looks. But it is on my list of things to do

Well thank you very much. I really think I want the 03 Cobra 17x9 wheels on my truck. Are these a bolt on?

Has anyone here ever ran these wheels on a 1st gen ranger? Are they bolt on and does anyone have any pics?
