Hello im new to this site but not new to auto mech. I have a 98 ranger sport
2 whl drive.3.o auto.Love this truck I have a question.Am i able to put a bigger alternator in it? When i run the a/c i notice lack of power (engine&brakes).
Is the alternator the problem?.

Welcome.I highly doubt that its an altornator problem,but any autozone or advanced auto parts will test it for free.
