PickupMan92 Jul 24 2009, 12:49am very nice, what kinda lift you got? love the tires.
LONGHORN Jul 24 2009, 08:02am Thanks mossyoak03 & PickupMan92!
I have a Doetsch 6" lift for 01-06 2WD Ranger, which pretty much consist of 3" spindles, 3" coils, upper control arms and shocks... Although, I chose to leave on it a set of 2" Daystar Polyurethane Leveling Spacers that I had installed about 4 years ago... And in the back it came with 3" blocks and shocks, but I went the extra mile and bought 2.5" Add-A-Leaf, and 2" Adjustable Shackles (Adjusted at about 1.5" in height) just to keep the original truck look... You know, a little higher in the back... I got tired of seeing my truck leveled and kind of lowered more in the back. Check out my profile, I have listed everything that I acquired for my truck there. I tried to do it as detailed as possible... Hope this answers your questions...
Josh40601 Jul 24 2009, 02:22pm great looking truck. I agree, those tires are sweet. I also like the brush guard and the FX4 rims. Sharp truck and glad to see ya back active on the forum
LONGHORN Jul 26 2009, 01:02am Thanks for the comments, Josh40601! I collected parts for my truck for about 7 months, so I'm glad that it is all done know... Although, I am looking at getting a MileMarker winch for the front. I just have to figure out how to get it mounted directly on the truck's frame, but still keeping the grill brush guard... Oh well, that would be my next project... Thanks again, man!
Josh40601 Jul 27 2009, 07:40am The warn on Dee Arr is mounted on a plate i made from 1/4" steel under the grille, behind the front bumper. Its not on the brush guard, but maybe it will help. Good luck
rangeryossway Jul 27 2009, 08:07am welcome
LONGHORN Jul 27 2009, 09:15pm Josh40601, I will keep an eye on that one, it may work for me. Thanks for the advice, man! I am also going to check out the MileMarker headquarters, which happens to be located 15 minutes away from my place... They have a winch mount for 4x4 Rangers, and I'd like to know if I can customize it to fit my 2WD... We'll see.
rangeryossway, Thanks!
