When you make or reply to a post, there's a section down below the post box that says "Manage Attachments". This will let you upload pictures from your computer. It displays in the post as a thumbnail.

They have to be below a certain size in both pixel and file size. Usually 800x600 and less than 250KB works.

Thats not the same as attaching an image. Thats offsite hosting.

Only Preferred Members are allowed to upload attachments. This was done to help keep the load on the server down, as well as help to close a possibly security issue.

Posting images is still allowed, following the directions that Wheat posted.
