Ok, i have a problem. I followed the instruction carfully. But when installing the chip, after my truck cranked, it was ideling really low. In addition, it would not go faster than 10 mph in first adn 20 in second. At a stand still i could not push gas pedal because it would not let the truck rev. Please help. if anyone has one or could help please do

thanks,
michael

I tried one of them and had the same results...they SUCK! Send it back, get your cash back and buy a Superchip! Save yourself the hassles!!

Chances are you have a connecting jumper or two inside your truck's ECU that is missing. Mine was like that, except it wouldn't fire off at all. If a jumper is missing, the ECU cannot read all the info in the chip and the computer will not know what to do. I soldered mine in about 5 min and was done. But if you don't want to do it, then send it back. I can say I like my diablo more than the ol' POS superchip I had(that one was a waste of money).

Everyone will have different results.

I aint gonna knock a diablo chip. I have a diablo in the 00 GT and a superchip in my ranger and the diablo is much better for the $ to me. I got a better curve w/ the diablo all the way around and it is reprogrammable instead of having to send it back to superchips to get reprogrammed. I am comparing a mustang and a ranger, but the products are no comparison if you ask me.
