my rangers transmission is strong i have a problem with it leaking fliud right from pan it seems to only leak bad when its a hot day i think its the gasket bacause it being close to exaust plus the temperature i was thinking of using a cork gasket to resolve the problem and help any one experience this problem let me know

Don't use cork man. Go to carquest( I am sure they have or can get these) or you can try another parts house. Ask them for the 3rd hand pan gasket. This is the best pan gasket avalible plus they call it a 3rd hand gasket because 4 of the holes in the gasket are a little bit smaller than the others so while you have your pan off, you can line up the gasket, stick 4 bolts through and the won't let the gasket move and they won't fall out so you can hold the pan up to the tranny with one hand and start the screws with the other hand. I have had best results when I start all of the pan bolts about halway up and then slap the shi!t out of the pan to flaten out the gasket and it help assure a perfect seal. Hope this helps.
