I was looking at some BFGoodrich LongTrail T/A's 31x10.5R15 for my 15x7 Teardrop rims. I have a 97 2WD stock level XLT. Will these fit without rubbing? What else would I need??? Also what is the difference if the model says OWL or doesn't? Theres like a $25 price difference on tirerack for the same model however the other says OWL... hmm. Well either way any help is appreciated. Thanks

Not sure about the tire size fitting but OWL means Outlined White Lettering.....WL means White Lettering....I am also looking at new tires for my truck....let me know if you find out that they fit.....it seems that if you use stock rims you are almost stuck buying Firestones due to funky rim sizes......:)

31x10.50's will fit those rims fine, that's what I run. If your truck is 4x2 and not lifted, though, they may rub.
31"x10.5 BFG All-Terrain KOs fit my 93 pretty good, they rubbed at full compression, but a mild lift (new coils, spacers, body lift)takes care of that.
Good Luck

I have a 94 XLT SuperCab with whatever package adds the fender flares and 15x7 rims for it and when I bought the truck from my dad (SWEET DEAL!) it had a set of Wild Country (Les Schwab) 31 x 10.5R15 on them and I have yet to have them rub but I haven't bottomed it out that I know of and haven't got them to rub. I have since bought some American Racing 15 x 8 Baja rims, 2" leveling springs up front & new rancho shocks all around and now it looks really really nice. The leveling springs are a MUST if you ask me. Hope the info helps ya...short of it...mine worked and never rubbed on 15x7 with 31x10.5R15, and for sure won't now :) err hopefully

I am running 30X9.5X15's and I have plenty of room. I do not think you will have a problem at all.

hey devil, are the leveling springs all that went into it, or did you have to do other stuff along with that? also, do you know if the same leveling springs will work on a 2wd?

4wd models have the same size spring as the 2wd ones. If you want leveling coils. Ok they sell for a bout $110 dollars for levelign coils. It lifts the front end up about 2 inches. I am getting the fabtech one. After you install this you have to go get an alignment. Oh yah call up 4wheelparts they will have em. Just ask for fabtech levelign coils for a 97 Ford Ranger.
1(800) 421-1050, there website is www.4wheelparts.com. They dont list them on there site for some reason. But when I emailed about them they guy told me they had em. Good Luck. Oh yah check out this person's ranger, he has 31's without leveling coils many good pics to here you go. Oh yah most people who get leveling coils are people who have 93-97 Rangers, the 98+ ones usually sit level.

Cool deal, yeah I forgot that Fabtech makes them...I'm thinking about putting 32's under mine with the same (15x8) rims I've got now. I've got room in the back but would need more clearance up front. Thanx for all the info.
