How do I remove the console out of my 1998 ranger. I want to paint it but i can't figure out how to get it out. Any help would be great. Lata.

Your drink console? The one on the ground? If so, just reach into the cup holders and there will be little rubber round "coaster" things. Just pull them up and there will be "screws" underneath it. This worked on my auto, but I know the manuals have different consoles. It might be the same anyway

In the manual, there is 2 screws at the front and back of the shifter boot. About them under the coasters, I don't know, but I'll have to go check.

No screws under the cup holders. Just lift up the edges of the shifter boot you'll see the screws
