In a former message I read on this board, someone was giving a good review of a OBD II Scanner. It's basically computer software and a cable that connects to your computer port in your car giving you a graphic readout of all your OBD II components. I thought this would be a great device to have, and thought that others might also want to get into this. Here is the website: www.obd-2.com.

Here are some questions I asked them about this product.

There are basically three versions:
Ford
GM
Chrysler/European/Asian

You can purchase one or all three version.

Minimum computer requirement is Windows 3.1, 486/33 with 2 MB Ram. Recommended requirement is a 486/50 or higher.

Presently reports legislated data, codes required by all cars, and Ford manufactured defined real time data. Will be adding Ford specfic key on tests in near future, within 1 month.

Q) What air bag or ABS testing can this perform. In none, will there be any in the future.

A) Should have in future, will use the ISO protocol.

Q) What type of price discount can you give for 20 or more units?

A) Group buy price would be 40% off for the Ford PWM unit. 30% off for all car and dual combo boxes. quanity 20+.

PRICES: Listed below are their retail prices which are on their web site before any discounts.

One manufacturer = $122
Two manufacturers = $142
Three manufacturers = $162

Price includes cable, software, shipping and handlling.

Is anyone interested in this and would be willing to handle this group purchase?

I'm guessing that includes the different connectors too?
