I've got a black truck, and the cab is kinda oxidized- both sides of the bed have been nailed in accidents and repainted, so I'm trying to get them to match as much as possible. any product out there you guys know of that will strip off the oxidation, I was considering using Meguiars Gold Class wax after. Suggestions please???

Use the mirical product CLAY BAR. If it is still on there after that try some light rubbing compound. If it is still on there it must have gotten in the paint to far, the only fix will be a new paint job.

I've tried the clay bar & it works good, but it is as slow as the dickens to cover a large area. I've used Meguirs "Step 1-Paint Cleaner" and "Step 2-Polish" with good success.
You could argue that two steps isn't any better than one, but I think it is the only way to cover a large area. The product is a liquid creme and goes on just like wax. You could even do it with a buffer, if your daring enough.
