I tried a new product the other day for black trim and flat black paint. It's made by Mother's --> "Back to Black". It is a liquid creme that restores/protects vinyl and non-clear coated paint. Used some on the wiper arms and base of the antenna. It made it look like new.

I give it the thumbs up.

Thats cool, I'll have to try that for sure. I can't stand they way the door handles, antenna base, and that small piece in the corner of the window all turn a little white. By the way...anyone know the what that small piece of plastic in the corner of the windows are for? I've thought about taking it off(since it turned white)..but I dont want to mess any weather stripping up or anything.

I think that is there to block water on the sides. That is what it looks like at least?

I have used castrol on some rims before and it will pull break dust right off, but it is some strong stuff. Try some mothers mag and aluminum polish. If that dosen't work move up to something like wenol. You will need a lot of hand power to work it in, but it should work.

yeah, that back-to-black stuff works real good on those black trim pieces, what also works good is that armor all extreme tire shine (the clear stuff that doesnt need wiping) i've used that on my mirrors and other trim (i wiped it on though)

Does Tonno Tonic really work better than soap and water?
