I have a 2002 Ranger Edge 3.0L with that code. I went to a place where they sell Superchips for $225 and they told me that the co. doesn't have it for that ECU code. Is it that the ECU code is new and they haven't programmed a chip for it yet? Anyone have this code too?

I was told the same thing about my code from superchips, i think they said i could send it in and they might be able to do it, but i dont like that idea, if it got lost or damaged i would be up shoit's creek. Whats your code? Rob :)

My year truck is a '99 so it's 3+ years old now, i cant imagine what they would be waiting for my code is CUG0.

Man- let me tell ya, I have the same code. 2002 edge produced on 8/01. hate to tell you but there is no hole to put a chip in. i pulled my ecu and took a look, nothing but a sticker. the metal was punch/dimpeled but there was no cover or plate that could be removed with out cutting the back of the ecu and that does not seem correct. I did some calling around and there is another version of the chip that will plug into the data port under the dash. this new style will work simmaler to a chip.
If anyone can prove me wrong then please do cause i want a chip!

SD Loc, you're the same person I talked to before from Generation-Edge. Maybe true, I did found this data port, but it's where dealers plug in whatever to check the computer. Hope a new chip comes out.
