I used this stuff from Walmart, was called Carpet and Upholstery cleaner, in a blue and white can, can't remember who made it though, that stuff worked great, I'd try that. Or maybe if you know someone with a Little Green Clean Machine...that thing works damn good too.

Yeah those tiny steam cleaners kick ass. You might want look into some sort of indor carpet cleaner. I know that they have some really strong ones out there.

I also learned that mineral spirits take out a lot of stians, especially grease. I tracked some into the house this weekend and my mom cleaned it right off the carpet with the stuff.

go to the auto motive section and armor all sells what is called a multipurpose cleaner. Its in a white squirt bottle with blue labeling, this stuf will work. Also, meguiars makes a very similar product, but it comes in a purple bottle. Also it is designated as a multi prupose cleaner. These are what i use to clean my seats/armrest and carpet when they get dirty!
it may take a couple applications , but it will work

I would suggest Renting a "Rug-Doctor" from a local rental store or hardware store. (I work at one and we rent 'em for about 10 bucks for 4 hours, plenty of time) and anyhow....just ask for the "Stair and Upholstery Tool" it's just a hand extension tool so you can get down in a small area. Anyways, Rug Doctors will lift out just about any stain you can think of. definately give it a shot. hope i could help
