well after much consideration i took off my apc intake pipe.
after numerous full-throttle runs and the annoying an hap-hazard "i know it doesnt belong under THIS hood" look, it is out.

the pipe never fit just right. not to mention by jumping up to that sizre i feel i lost some of the velocity of the incoming air. so back i go to the factory pipe?

NO!

instead i have the maf meter fitted direct to the throttle body and the filter at the end!

tight fit. but instead of a low-pitched growl....i have and i kid you not....a high pithced SCREAM!!!!!

pulls harder top-end, low-end doesnt appear to suffer.

also taking off my upper soon and painting it high temp ford blue along with my maf meter. the maf meter is already balck but i need more blue i think!

i posted apic of this before but i will do my best to get another one.
