I thought ford was replacing them with RT/S'. I have 265/75/R/15's from the factory, so those are the only type good year makes in that size, at least according to the web-site. I'd rather have MTR's but:bawl:

the list of 'approved' tires on the ford website is the sizes that a dealer will put on if you go through a ford dealer.. But.. if you want any other size you can go to any jo shmoe tire place.. buy the tires.. and get ford to pay most of the cost.. I have 15" wheels on my edge right now.. looking for some 16" ones and then I'm going to have ford pay me 110 bucks for each new tire I get on the new 16" wheels.. they will only pay 110 each tire since I originally had 15" wheels.. If I originally had the 16" wheels.. they would pay 130 bucks or so per tire..

Dont go to the dealer for your tire recall.........!!!!!!!! They will put on stock size tires......You have a credit....use it and get something bigger and better

the MTR's just came out to the public like last month and there web site is a little behind I wouk for Good Year so that is how I new that they were out in the 265/75r16 they have the RT/S, AT/S,MTR,Workhourse,RFA,HT,AP,ect. and there is a few more if you want the mtr's just go to you Good Year store. The tires only cost me 140.00 per tire and Ford is paying for 130.00 per tire so i got mudders for only 40 bucks, it's great to work there.
Latter all:daze: :daze:

When you get your tires from someplace other than Ford, how long does it take to get the rebate?
Thanks-
Greg :afro:

Got my rebate check for my 98 today. I put 31 BFG AT TA KO's on it. Now to do the 99. Ford wants to put Good Year's on it, but I don't want to waite 2 yrs for them to come in so.....Rebate was for 465.00.

By the way, it took about a month from the day I sent stuff for rebate to ford :) :) :)

Man, if you are getting $465.00, you could make money. I was pricing BFG's and if you go through Costco, you can get the AT TA's for $450 with everything. I decided to go with some Bridgestone Dueller A/T's because I can get them for $350 in 31x10.5x15 (I don't have recalled tires, but their bald again *sniff*).

As of now, the HT's are not recalled. That's what I have as well. I am going to keep these tires though, in case they do recall the tires.
