i am gettin ready to pick out my muffler. and almost everyone on here recommends 40's.
but i am lookin for somethin very quiet. preferably silent. while maybe not the most popular opinion, im not a fan of loud 4bangers. but i do want the performance of an aftermarket muffler.
ne1 know of a silent hi-perf muffler??

Maybe a Flowmaster Delta Flow 40. I'm not sure though 'cause I've never heard the DF before. I have a regular 40 on mine.:D

welp. i have a 50 series delta flow with 2.25 inch in and 2 2 inch out. it exits in front of the rear tire so it iw kinda loud. i would do a delta flow 50 series 2.25 inch in 2.25 inch out and have it exit in the stock location. would give better tone and better power and gas mileage.

I seem to remember a company called Walker that carried hi-flow mufflers that were very quiet.

i believe the lightning uses walker mufflers... as fasr as quiet.. any performance muffler will be louder than stock, the stock one is resprictive and really cuts performance potential. power=noise for the most part.

does anyone have any audio clips from their exhaust??? That'll help a lot...I'm looking to get an exhaust too, but I don't want it to sound "tinny" :pimp:
