I'm telling you there are so many damned inconsiderate car owners out there. i park all the way out in the middle of nowhere and someone manages to park next to me and wing their car door open right into mine. and then they also manage to leave without telling me of their stupidity. :cussing: Now for my question. What is the best thing to do for these dings, 3 to be exact? They arent too bad but they are noticeable. How much would it cost to have them fixed? I want them fixed and i dont want to spend as much as i did for my exhaust. Give me feedback. Thanks.

well it all depends on how bad they are. If it is just a paint scratch you it can easily be touched up by yourself. If they actually dented the metal it will be harder.
It is not to hard to do touch up paint. You can by a good touch up kit at autozone. Professionaly it will cost around 30-60 at a paint shop (that is how it is down here)
Dents usually run about the same price.

go to a local car wash that does detialing and see if they do paintless dent repair. see what they say
I had an ignorant SOB put a dent in my truck Thursday. It hit right on the roll where the bottom detail turns into the bed. Would have been easy to tap out if it had been on a flat area, but this was right on the corner. I used a flat dolly on the outside and a smooth hammer on the inside today and got most of it out, but it left a little split in the paint. The bad thing was, I work with all these people everyday and no one came and said anything about it. First dent. :bawl:

That sux! I'm always careful about where I park, so I've been lucky to not get any door dings that have gone through the paint. I sat in the laundromat last year and watched some woman swing her car door open HARD towards the right side of my truck, then do the same thing with the back door and she got real nice and close with my truck while she was dragging her loads of laundry through the door. I went outside immediately after to inspect and I made sure I gave her the stink-eye when I came back in after verifying that there wasn't a scratch on the paint... Some people are so retarded, no pride at all in their vehicles. I don't understand it!
Mazda, where did you get your bodywork tools, the dolly and such? I might wanna invest in some when I start screwing around with the wagon...

i always find the sportscars in the parking lot and park beside them, i make sure theres no baby seats or kids things scattered about and usually when there isnt, then the owner is very careful because they as well dont want there stuff dinged or scraped so they will be sure not to hit mine for fear of hurting there own stuff, thats just my philosophy at least, because i live in a very rich county, so theres always a sports or luxury car in a parking lot, just NEVER park beside a minivan or a station wagon, because the little tikes swing there doors open then jump out of the vehicle, so not only will you have a ding on ur door from there door, but also hand prints on your freshly waxed and cleaned paint and windows, not cool at all:cussing:
