Can some one tell me how much the red tops run, i need a new battery but im not about to spend a crap load. i just dont want to be suprised tomorrow and look like an idiot

I think they run a little over $100. . .

The red top optima that I put in my ranger cost me about 140 bucks, at the local audio store.

FYI: For my 96 ranger I had to "custom" fit the battery since it is smaller than the stock one.

I went and got one today, the 1000cranking amps instead of the cheaper 800, 150 flat out. also today i started to make a custom braket to hold it in place being that it is smaller
