Hey guys wasup,
i can get a carbed 302 with tranny and rear end for $700 but i need to know it it can handle daily low rpm (0-3000) driving? And is the gas mileage a vast difference compared to the efi setup?
Thanks in advance

I finished a 302 swap in a ranger with a holley 650 carb a few months ago. I wanted to go fuel injection but it would have costed me over a thousand dollars more it already cost me over two thousand to do the conversion. I am currently getting 14 mpg which is fine for me.

It depends on the day and wether or not the throttle peddle is mashed or not, normally is, I would say I average around 17 around town or better, guess I don't really keep track that close. On the road my best was 24mpg, Oh I am running efi.:afro:
