I ordered mine and it took 2 months. It was from racer walsh about this time last year. Hopefully you have a MAF and K&N to go with it or you might be dissapointed.
The piece is great, howerver without the addtion of a larger maf and (minimum) K&N filter you probably won't notice much.
Keep us updated!@

I finally got it put on, while I was at work:E, so I couldn't post right away. Ofcourse I didn't notice a huge difference, but there IS a difference in throttle response. I noticed that right away. And I also noticed that you could hear the air alot more rushing trough the airbox. I do have a modified air intake and a K&N filter so I really and honestly think it made a difference. I will back that up tomorrow with some horsepower numbers. I do have one problem though... My idle is a little screwed up. My idle is staying up when I come to a stop and I have to give it gas so it will come down. But I know I could fix that. I did drop the TP sensor while I was transfering it to BBK unit:rolleyes: So I know I could fix that under warranty:E And since I could fix it, I will also get paid for it too:) I will keep you posted soon
Hey SVT00...Can you message me tomorrow, I lost your IM and had to re-install AIM.

Hey Pete, when I installed my BBK, I found the hard stop idle screw had to be adjusted because the idle was too high. Also, I removed it once for cleaning. When I reinstalled it, I had the symtoms you describe. Turns out, the little black plastic piece they send to go between the end of the throttle plate and the TP sensor was binding, so I just took the plastic piece out and all is well again.
I'm glad you got that thing on, we were all worried you had busted a knuckle or something. Did you reset your computer after you installed it? Even then, it takes a while for the idle to reset. If it doesn't return to normal, I have around here somewhere the procedure for setting it. It's one of those 20 step processes where you take it to 2500 for so long, shut it off, do something, take it to 2500 again, etc. It may be the TPS too, on my 99 I played with it a little to control the throttle tip in position, or where it transitioned from the idle control circuit to the running circuit. I kinda remember it affecting the idle speed too.
