I finally made my fuel rail like I need it. I've removed the regulator, ground the old bolt towers down, tapped the hole for a 6-an fitting and also used a elbow fitting and another 6-an fitting on the feed side. This should remove my restrictive stock fuel pressure regulator and allow me to take full advatage of my Paxton regulator. If anyone else would like one of these it can be done but this should only be for a custom fuel system with high horse power or large inline pumps. later Doug904

Doug,

Be careful with this setup! This is what we started with way back when. Ultimately, we ended up cracking the rails where the fittings go and you get pretty nasty leaks and really pretty fire on some occasions. The solution we found was to modify a -6 AN Union and weld it to the rail. FYI:eek:
