I ordered my flowmaster 40 and it should be here tomorrow. I ordered 2 1/4 in/out is that the same size as the stock pipes? I plan on using them for now.

I think the stock is 2 in. It should still fit, you can get an adapter for the different size pipe.

yea, mine was 2 inches but it wasn't a problem, it's pretty sweet, don't judge it till it has a chance to get broken in

Yeah Ifound out it is 2 in but it is easy to make it fit. I'll probally put it on tomorrow......I also know that you have to break it in..

so will that simply bolt on to your original pipes? or do you have to cut and weld?

You have to cut the original muffler out and either bolt up or weld in the new one.
