Is that gonna go in the bed or under the hood?

Seriously that's a good block but it's a blank slate... After several months of listening to your zany ideas, I realize that you're probably going to try to be 'different' and want some screwy mix of parts on this thing. If you have a trusted machine shop that will build it the way you want without charging you 15 grand then do it, but if it was my truck and my money I would buy a complete longblock. It's not like you're gonna get the traction to hook the power to the ground.

Oh well I give up... :daze:

Dang Bassn you have mad skills. You can copy and paste things from Ford Racings Web page. I am very proud of you  Seriously though do you have any clue what that stuff means or are you just trying to show off to Shinoda and Cobra. ;) I have been on the forums (differnt names) since about a 1/2 year before the 1st UBB and I have seen your "Plans" for your truck since you have been on the boards. First it was a Twin Turbo charged 427 with a C6 tranny in the bed with a slant back cover over the motor. Oh and I forgot to mention the AWD converison from an explorer that is good snap in half at the track when you try to launch your truck off the line with that BIG BAD motor your gonna get soon as you get the money. Personally I think you should shutup and keep dreaming of this **** when you have no clue what you are talking about. I too can read some information off a website and try to act like I know everything. I am not trying to say that I know everything because I dont. I just know that you are full of ****. Thanks for listening.

P.S. I'm with Shinoda when I say this : SIGH (TM) (END)

I just read this thread, and I personally think apologies are in order. I like RPS and RF, its a nice community, nice boards, and has some real nice people. However, I can not stand this kinda B.S., Welcome to life outside of the sixth grade. There are other boards out there, and if we don't behave people will go to them, and if I have to I will be one of those people.
Now if I offended anyone I apologize, but I do not think we should let this kinda B.S. go on.

Chris you are about half right on your post.
But have you ever see me claim I know a ton about this?
Yes I did copy and paste from the webpage.
I am just trying to get a little info which you have none of it seems.

Like I have said before. If you think I am full of $hit that fine by me. It makes no differnce either way. You can just wait and see what happens like everyone else. No big deal.

I am just stating what I have witnessed over the past few months. You keep talking about "When I get the money" I am gonna have this and this and this. You have had plenty of time to save money and start collecting parts when you are too busy dreaming up of what you are gonna put in your sig as "Future Mods":E Why are you busy bondoing you hootus and getting your truck painted (still waiting on pics with the filled body lines) when you could be putting all of this money into you motor. That is just my opinion.

He was not trying to act like he knew everything, he was simply pulling info off from a website, and asking what people thought of it. As to you Bassn, Yes that is a very nice block, but I would personally try to find a longblock and start from there. Just pull it apart and take it to a machine shop and have it reworked. It would be much cheaper, than buying anything new from Ford, especially a performance part.

Bassn, you should know better than to ask a question that you don't already know the answer to:dunce:
