I had a totally stripped long block HO. I now need to install the AOD flywheel on the engine, is there a special way that the counter balance must be lined up? Does it have anything to do with the position of the harmonic balancer? Or, does it have to do with the position of the over drive governor on the tail shaft? None of my books seem to have the info, so before I head to the Ford dealer and ask them, I turn to the good folks here…

Went to the dealer tonight, they say there is only one way it goes back on. I sure hope so, I mean I see in the 302 over haul book that they wanted you to mark the position of the flywheel, I didn’t have that luxury! Here is hoping for the best.
