i went to a junk yard today in search of a new engine for my new 89 2.3, i found a 88 tc for 500, it has 66 thousand miles on it and looked in good condition, the guy said that the turbo still pulled 15 psi and was in great shape, i wanna know how much hp i should be expecting and what all i need to drop it in
oh and will my 5 spd hook up to it or should i also purchase the tranny for another 200?

Hey check out the turbo forums more info there. From what i've read about the turbo 2.3's they range in HP from 160-200hp i think and there the same block as the NA 2.3's so the tranny should bolt straight up.
