ok everyone this is going to be kinda short and to the point in stead ofa story like all of my other post's but I just want to know if the fron tend off of a newer mazda will fit onto an older mazda? also if this has been done let me know and show some pics. on other question what color do all of you think I should color my truck?

Man I like your truck the color it is. I like red trucks, so that's what I would do with it if I were going to change it. On the front end question, the 01's have the turn signals and parking lights beside the headlights instead of under them, so you would have to change everything out. Not sure when they made the change to them, but it happened in 01 on the Rangers. You can see in this pic that the grill is actually two pieces, the grill itself and another panel that runs from headlight to headlight under the grill.

I wouldn't change the color of a vehicle unless I really, really hated it! It's alot of work to do a good job. You'd have to paint it everywhere otherwise it looks like crap when you open the doors/hood to see the original color. Maybe you could use the original color as a base color and do some custom painting over it. Just a thought. I must say, though, the bright blue on the 1998's is pretty sharp. That may be an idea for ya. I would've bought one if I had seen it before I bought my toreador red one. If you really want to get wild throw a metal-flake job on there!
