I have a dark haze on the inside of my window about the size of a golfball, and can't seem to get it off with soap and water, also I can't use Windex or anything cause I have tinted Windows. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it off ??

Thanks..

Try some eagle one 20/20 window cleaner. I found it is a great cleaner for tinted windows. If it dosen't come off it could be a problem witht the tint and you might have to have it redone.

Yeah you should try some of the eagle 20/20 on it. I use it on my windows and mine are tinted and it doesn't damage my tint. If it's still there it might be the tint, if you have a warranty on the tint and it's still good you shoud get it fixed. Hope this helps

How do ya figure ????

I`ve been a professional window tinter for over 10 years now and I can tell ya from experience that ANY ammonia based cleaner Does harm window tint. The ammonia fades the oil based dye used in the tint, allowing the sun to fade the yellow dye from the film leaving the red and blue dyes resulting in a purpleish color.

Now,there are new films out that are totally metalized films, and ammonia won`t hurt them, but they have just become availible in the last 2 years.

Yeah Josh is right, when I tinted my windows the first time I got just reg. tint and the guy said don't put any amonia kind of cleaner on it or else it will ---- it up. When I re-tinted my windows a couple of months ago I got the new metalized kind. It suposidly will be able to handle amonia but its not recommend to do that. Oh yeah newspaper isn't to good on the tint either it can scratch it up.
