Hello everyone. I'm new to RPS but I've been playin' with my Ranger for more than 4 years. I'm lookin' for 3.55s to replace my 3.08s. Pros and cons would be helpful. I'm also lookin' to hook you up with some fresh vinyl decals for your ride.

But to answer it, with the 3.55's over the 3.08's. You get increased acceleration, but get lower gas mileage on the highways. The 3.55's are a good street/strip gear for the daily driver. I have them in mine and think they are very good. But if you're gonna swap gears make sure you toss a limited slip diff or something similar in while your at it.

Thanks for the advice. It's not like the gas mileage is all that great anyway. I am looking for the faster take off times, plus there is a significant towing advantage with the 3.55s.
