Don't have a Ranger yet, but looking for one for the V8 swap. Found an 84 with 140k on it for $900, but it's a single cab and I want a club cab.

Anyways I'm going to college to be an Elementary teacher, will graduate Spring of 04 and get married June 04 to my wonderful fiance.

Right now I'm driving a 95 Thunderbird V8 that needs a transmission before too long. The Ranger would be my driver while I fix the 'Bird and then when it dies, v8 time.

Welcome to RPS, Steven@nd! You need to step up to the 86 model to get a supercab. Honestly, if you're going for all out performance the pre-86's are the ones to have. They are 200-300 lbs lighter than the supercab models if you get a shortbed.

But either way, a V8 in one makes a sweet truck, and good luck on getting there. :)
