Has anyone been to the Ny Auto Show and saw the new 04 Ranger in person? Is it really there?

I am thinking of going on Thursday.

AcidLauncheR when yesterday.. The 04 Ranger is there. Don't Know if I will make it this year. I want to go.

Yes i was there monday,they have it on a raised platform surronded by a hard railing, you cant even see inside unless your 8ft tall:eek: the only diff i saw was the front fascia, and wheels were a little diff, kinda dissapointed :(
The Mazda display on the first floor you can walk up to and get in also, so you can see the interior and the different knobs that people ripped off the blue one there.
And there is a Silver Frost one on display also, i didnt take any pics of those because there not really any diff than the current model.

Thanks man, I will be there on Thursday.
I will ask them to bring down the 04 Ranger to the floor level so I can get a better look. ;) lol

from what i can see i am disappointed with the speedo....it kinda looks gay.....i love how the ranger now has the explorer sport track front end....it will grow on me, it just hasnt yet.....lol....but ford knows whats best sometimes...i love the leather option!!

Not sure if I like that or not, I don't like the gauge cluster, and they have the same dash they have had for 8 years. The wheels are not new, that is what comes with the Tremors. Guess the front is ok, but now it looks like damn neat every other ford truck, atleast the X's

Well I was there last night and .............................


............ I do not like it (the 04 Ranger that is) the front end looks out of place and the interior looks the same as ours with a speaker box in the back with some cheeseie carpeting over it. :cussing:

I did like (alot) the FX4 Level 2 they had there, love the seats and the wheels. :E

Thanx for the pics bud. Man, after seeing the 1st pics of the inside of the '04 Ranger, my eyes first see the new steering wheel (looks like something out of the '04 F-150) and then the gauges which I'm not happy about cause its not a complete cluster (like it is on the current Rangers), however I do like the white faces. I then notice a crease in the middle of the passenger airbag door and the label for it has been moved further into the corner. What I noticed missing was an overhead console (c'mon Ford, don't u know ppl are putting overhead consoles from Explorers into Rangers!!!) I saw a portion of those "new" seats and from what I can see, they look comfortable.

As far as the rest of the pics go, I like the rear view shot where it has the "tremor" badge, thats very cool. Thanx again.

If I had an 04, my first mod would be to probably swap the front end for an 01-03 :thumbsdow

those pictures make it official...ugly grille, i don't like it. good thing grilles can be replaced.
