Well I was able to test fit the new Duratec Performance CAI yesterday and although some revisions have to be made(and they will be)... WOW!!!! Im loving the nice growl at 5500rpm... I just got it on last night so I cant say a really good seat o' the pants dyno but the power comes on better at 3krpm when the tumble flaps open and up high it really is nice... Just need to raise the redline and get the cams to see it really howl! Hopefully the revised prototype will be done soon...

Ill try to get pics up ASAP...

ps: there should soon be a sound clip of the Ranger going from 3k-6k rpm in second gear coming soon...

Brian,

Good news! Did you have trouble finding a new location for the power steering reservoir to make way for the CAI? Will the Duratec CAI kit have hardware for relocating & refastening the reservoir and extra/replacement cable for the MAF (or will the MAF cable be long enough to reach the new location)?

The main resonator mount is a perfect fit for the PS reservoir. The CAI fits nicely and the air there is COLD! The MAF cable is long enough, we are still thinking of ways to mount the cable hidden under the intake. Ill try to get some pics tonight.
