I painted the grill on my 91' Ranger this week it was very easy heres what I used.
Fine Grade Steel Wool ((roughed might help))
Painted thinner and denatured alcohol
Sandable spray primer
FM 8114 White Ford touch up paint
Dupli color spray clear coat
First I removed the grill using by removing these bolts

Sweet shoes eh?
I then went at with the steel wool and denatured alcohol for a bit after taping off the Ford symbol.

I then applied my a coat of primer, followed by a coat of the white.

I then applied two more coats, then clear coated it ((many many coats, used the whole huge can.))

Then popped it on the truck using the same bolts I removed

Not bad, it cost about 20$ and changed the front looks end, it was very easy to do and took two days cause I ran out of paint and didnt get a chance to get the store ((a grill takes two of the small cans)).
It turned out alot better than I thought it would actually.
Thanks to Ranger Power Sports for all it's forum members help with my truck!
