My club will be there on Friday bright and early. .

I reserved the rooms a while back and got them at 49.00 a night.

I know that 6 members from my club will be there andabout 30 members from Ford Truck world. Maybe we can all park together

The truck is looking bad ass Poco! I will deffinately be there and will try to rope as many Ohio guys into coming as I can. Seems like a long way off, but I'm sure before we know it, it'll be right around the corner and I'll be rushing to get the truck ready for the show. Right now I'm just trying to concentrate on Showfest and than I'll start planning the next. But I wouldn't miss this show for anything!

Hey, thanks Wed. I just shaved my gas filler door and primered the entire truck this past weekend. I should have some new pics posted on my site soon.

And I know ITB seems like a ways off but its 94 days from today and time goes by quick when you work second shift.

I wish I were able to attend Show Fest this year but I have so many other things going on I just cant.

That is a pretty lame excuss there Goldie. You'll have to come up with something better. You didn't hear any of us complaining about the multiple day trip it took for us to get to Greenville. Trust me the driving isn't great, but the fun you'll have at the show will more than make up for it.

Its not only the drive. Lately my work has been "chaotic" to say the least. In 2 months, i have worked 60 hrs a week - fired 2 guards - hired 3 guards - one quits - back to 40 hrs a week.

I've gone to the ITB show the last 2 years in a row and it's not really a party place. The camp ground next to the show might be a party place but I've never camped there. At ITB you hit the show and then you go back to your hotel for the night, no cruising, parking or dragging on the main strip. Heck, I don't even think they have a main strip at ITB.

Most of the OH guys and a few from IN & IL will be at the same hotel and we may go out for dinner on Fri. or Sat. night after the show. You’re more then welcome to hang out with us. The hotel info. for us is on the first page of this post.

BTW.... If anyone's planning to register at the gate you'll pay an extra $15. I just got my pre-registration card in the mail and if you register before Aug. 7th it’s $35 and after the 7th it's $50.

yeah you can drive it that night. Everyone has to leave at the end of the day and then come back again the next day.


I didn't stay overnight last year. We came over on saturday and then left that afternoon after the show.
It is nothing like Greenville from what I hear though.

I have been to ITB the last two years and never party as hard as I do there anywhere else. You get to cruise the show grounds all day, you can bring alcohol in with you(if you are old enough),party at the hotel all night, You can cruise downtown on the circle (which was pretty happening last year).
Alot of the guys go to hooters after the show on Saturday. If you know the right people ( which I know people who know the right people, but what good is that?) you can find out what bars the editors are partying at and party hard with them.

I know the hotel I am staying at there was alot of partying at last year.
My first year going to ITB I stayed at a different hotel and ther was no partying.
Any of you that are going are more than welcome to come party with me and my club. Just get up with me at the show. I'll be the guy walking around with a beer in his hand at all times.

We might have to do that Paco...... everywhere I've stayed it's been quite, maybe a few guys hanging around in front of the hotel but that's it. It's nothing like the Greenville strip, that was crazy.

The show is Friday thru Sunday. I think some of us will be there for all 3 days and most of us will be there for atleast Saturday.

I wont be there until late afternoon on Saturday. Actually more like 6-7ish. I will prolly get a hold of yall and meet at a hotel or eating establishment. Truck won't get entered just for Sunday but I will be rolling it over for yall to check out.

BTW, almost done.

That's cool. I'm sure they'll be about 20 cellphones on different people there at the show. Be very cool to see your truck done and layed out. :E I'm sure you can't wait.

For those of you who have been, I am going to try and mark off the area right where you pull into the show grounds and turn left on to the cruise strip. I will be there bright and early Friday so hopefully I can get this spot for all of us. I think it will be the best spot to have. If not just look for the Twizted Lifestylz banner. I will try and have a big enough spot for all of us if I can.

I hadn't heard anything back from the ITB guys about the pre-registration I did back in June so I gave them a call today. As it turns out, the pre-registration thing I did didn't go through so none of us were registered.

Not to worry…. I went back on their website this afternoon and did the whole thing over again but this time I made sure I printed every damn page I was given so I have proof I did it :). I’m supposed to receive confirmation via email sometime within the next 72 hours and if I don't receive the email I'll just call them and do it over the phone. Either way we're getting the discounted price :E. Each of you will own me $26.50 and you can pay me when we get to the show.

We will most likely meet at about 9:00AM at the Signature Inn off of E. 38th st. and I-465. I believe this is were a Majority of the RPSers are staying. I'm sure Gerry or any of the other guys can provide a little more information than I can.

I'm staying at the Red Roof Inn, that's where some people told it was "happening" last year.

I have a question, I'm registered for the show, but does that mean I have to participate in the vehicle judging? I see that's it's a drive-thru judging, I'm assuming so that judges don't have to walk all over the fairgrounds. So do I hafta do it? I really don't want to be judged, I'm just there for the good times and BUD LIGHT:afro:

I made the trip once and don't know that I'll do it again. It was a decent show, but I wasn't nearly as impressed with it as I have been with Indy the years I've been going there.

2 weeks to go!

My bad luck still continues and I got hurt at work and had to have surgery. I just got out of the hospital so I dont know if I will be there. I am hoping I will be ok enough to go.

I am still laid up from surgery and I am crazy drugged up on pain killers but my club is pitching in and going to finish my bodywork on my truck and getting it ready for ITB for me. Looks like I will not have as much done as I hoped but at least I get to go.

Well looks like I will be there, BUT.......it won't be until mid afternoon on Saturday. I will MOST LIKELY be in the truck. I have the bed on and everything plumbed for the most part. Just have to bleed the brakes adjust a few things.

I had the day off of work for a few months now but I got promoted to Officer in Charge of my post office. I will be doing this for a month at this office and then jumping around running offices until I can get the last promotion to postmaster.

So I will be in touch with GUMBILICIOUS that afternoon. I probably won't even enter my truck in the show since it will be so late, but I will have it so at least all the RPS guys can see it.

Matt, Wed and I have two shade tents for the show. The grill is making the trip for its 2nd showing at ITB but this year we’ve gone high-tech…. now have proper tools for the BBQ, the pliers have officially been retired :). I also have the RPS banner from last year so it’ll be up on the fence behind us.

As for parking..... I think the spot we had last year was really good because we had tons of room to spread out and we could all park together. Sure it was a little off the beaten path but we made it work. Anyone who was there last year knows where we were parked and for those that don’t know just look for the RPS banner on the fence in the southwest corner after you enter the show grounds (the fence runs parallel to the camp grounds across the street).

I think we’re planning to be at the hotel around 12:30-1:00 and then over to the show ASAP. If time gets tight we might hit the show first and do the hotel after the show.

The truck is complete, I took it for a spin last night around 10:30. It is awesome. I have to ride real low in the back so the ride is good,other wise it is bouncy. So I am gonna detail it tonite and clean up some wiring and small stuff.

Thanks Matt. We haven't worked on the house much, we finally got a grant from fema. It will pay for alot of the cost to get fixed but not all. We are starting on a room this weekend. Would have had it down last week but was on vacation. Still have to have the house lifted on one cornor and have one room drywalled. It's getting there. We were lucky, 3 of our neighbors are still without thier homes. Goose I will make it over to Henry's sometime. I'm in jobs bank on days so I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks. I wish I could make it down Saturday. What are you guy's doing after the show Sat? Let me know where you guys will be at and I might (MIGHT) get down there for alittle bit. If not, have fun and I'll be there next year.

We'll probably be at one of the hotel's drinking or out at a restaurant eating. Give one of the guys a call on their cell phones if you got time and we'll give you directions to where we are.

i had my advance registration card, but i threw it away since i probly wont be able to go :(

i know it was august as always, but cant recall teh dates. sorry..

I believe it's the weekend of the 14th in 04 but I'm not positive.
