with all this extra moneys lyin around from graduation ive been in quite the dilema trying to decide waht to buy first:daze:, nitrous?, mass air?, fan?, Pullies?, so im gonna do the fan and pullies first.
the pullies are straight foward but for the fan.
should i keep it running all the time or have it hooked up to a thermostat or hooked up to a switch?
im thinkin i could have it hooked up to a switch so while im drivin i can have it on, and at the track when im coolin off i can have it on, then turn it off when i run, then turn it back on to cool off. bad idea or good?
im clueless:confused:

I hooked it up to a switch. I made sure to hook it up to a wire that was hot when the ignition was engager. The only bad thing about a switch is that sometimes you forget to turn it on and you run the risk of oveerheating. I had it happen once when i first out the fan in. You could try to put in a thermo with a high temp on it so that you have aback up incase to forget about the fan.

where do you get the pullies for the 2.3L, and how much $$$$$?

If you are going to run both switches, the remote switch and the temp, rember to conect them in parallel. If you connect them in series the fan will not turn on unless BOTH switches are hot. In parallel, if either switch is on the fan will turn on.

same here, but most of the stuff i know is because I learned it from someone on here (rascal king and 4bangin). This board is great there is always someone with new ideas.
Oh and if you live around racer walsh go over and check the place out, I have heard the have race breed pintos with turbo 2.3 's pushing 300hp that they race alot. Might be an interesting thing to see.
