Okay, I'm not sure how they work but is there a way to make my dome light fade off when I shut doors? I was going to the the Explorer OHC mod soon and I figured since I had everything apart I would try to add a little extra. Also since I will be at the wrecking yard getting the parts for the OHC mod I ask, is there a vehicle I can pull this dimmer from? Where would it be and what does it look like?

Thank you in advance!

If you dump a muffler under the truck, are there any heat issues? Like if you are parked for some amount of time will it negatively affect anything? And if you pipe it to exit in front of the rear tire will the constant exhaust near the rim discolor or corrode the rim? Tried a search on here...

Are your fog lights not as bright as they use to be?? It may not be from the bulbs getting old or going dim it could be because the silver coating on the inside of the light housing could be wearing off. Well i have a fix for you, the fog lights come apart all you need to do is get a large flat head screw driver and carefully pry the clear lens off the black housing, i have pictures and they will be pretty obvious how to do it but heres the material you will need

1 roll of silver metal tape, you know the kind
1 pair of scissors
1 tube of clear rvt silicone
your fog lights

now make sure you wash them thoroughly before you try to stick and form the metal tape to the inside or it wont stick good

NOTE..... this may or may not be a permanent fix....it is a quick and easy fix and it works pretty good using things you may have just lying around the shop....in the end we may need to buy new housings!!

scroll down for the pictures.......had help from someone on how to get them here!!!!
