    - Set up a photobucket account
    - Upload pics to photobucket from your computer (follow directions on photobucket)
    - Select the pic you want to post
    - Copy the IMG code for that pic (should start and end with [IMG] )
    - Paste the IMG code for that pic in your post on here.

Good looking console. How many radios are you going to be running? Looks like 2. So is it getting bagged?

Just curious, why does that head unit face the dash? Is it still accessable in that position? Also, what sub are u running there? Reference series or a Kappa?

There is only one radio. I just moved the faceplate up front to be different. Everything still work and functions normal. It is some thing that I wanted to do for about a year now and finally got around to it. And the subs are Reference series

All I did was draw a pattern of the floor since my seats(SRT4) alot of room. Took measurements under the dash for height, same for the rear and just let the pencil go nuts. With the top I took a 3/16 piece compressed cardboard and soaked it in the tube for about a hour. I had laid out center line to temp. fasten it to the sides of the console once dried I removed the screws then glueded it back down with screws to make sure it was tight. Under the amp is a hole for access to the subs and the cap. The cup holders are done with exhaust tubing and cup holder inserts to make it look a little better. The front of the console was done with fiberglass to create a radius, once it dried I popped it out, smoothed with body filler, glued it back into place and sanded the entire console and set it for paint. Anything else let me know thanks for looking.

Yep the panel fit just fine just need the bracket that goes behind the dor for the 89-94. No problems at all. For the gauges the speedo had a bracket that came with it and fitted really nicely, almost a slight interfearance fit along with the tach....like it was made for autometer gauges. As for the rest of the gauges I just had some sheetmetal laying around and hole sawed out some holes. Now the was my dash is set up, I have no HVAC ducts, wiring, radio or anything in the dash, it is completly bare. The instrument panel lights are are just ran off of the harness that goes to the cluster. The gauges are going to get redone for better looks, something for right now. Thanks for looking!

not sure what bracket you are talking about... but i was curious on the guages because i was considering a set of 5 inch dakota digital vhx-series guages and was wondering how to mount them in the factory holes... what bucket seats would you suggest me trying to get as i also want buckets and a center console... i want so badly to do an interior like yours and need lots of info... btw my interior looks kinda like this...

sorry bout the low quality of the pics... they were taken on a cell phone

I had the exact interior. For starters the seats are Viper inspired Dodge Neon SRT4....and they hug so good, just have to change the seat belt is self...it fits with no mod. OK for the dash 5" gauges. This is kinda tricky, lots of fitting due to the gauge pockets on the dash. Since I am not runnlng any instrument gauge cluster I have all the room I need and then some. I use a dremal to trim back the the black pocket part of the dash cover around the speedo and tach. Its gave me a very snug, tight fit, plus the gauges came with a gaint U bracket for added security so that it did not fall out. For the rest of the gauges I have no HVAC controls and my radio is mounted backwards in my center, hence my faceplate is mounted between my dvd sunvisors. For the center just be creative but have your seats before you start your console. My subs rub alittle againts my seats but I love the way the seats feel. LOL cup holders are 2 1/4 exhaust pipe. The bracket for the door I am talking about is mounted under the arm rest to the door, so that when you pull the door closed the panel doesnt pull off the door itself. Its a push button start to. If you want to know more let me know. If you decide to drop the suspension let me know Ive got boxed 3" drop I beams with spindles and 18 miles on moog ball joints just sitting around collecting dust. Any lots of other things that Im not using either. Good luck on the ranger have fun.

i about to buy a set of seats from drppdyllwrngr... they're 60/40 split bench... a great deal on them, they're cloth, and they match my current interior, a BIG plus... is that bracket available with the 89-92 door panels(will i find it at a salvage yard) and where else do the panels attach? and how did you get the nice ones? is it possible you could find another set in red? a little research got me looking at cheapies (in tan only)with no door pocket... i might consider the beams if i find an expo 8.8 axle (free flip kit!)... any other suggestions and thank you very much for the help...

the door panels also have the push in clips just like the cardboard like door panel, everything lines up just fine. I put about 20 hours of work in smoothing out the panels to get them to look like the exterior of my truck when it gets painted. the panels are off a 92 ranger. Are you planning on swapping in a 5.0 later or just a 2.3? For a rear axle I got a 92 explorer 8.8 w/ limited slip and 3.73 gears. its already flipped but, I think 1.50 wider but had disc brakes......Hope this helped.

eventually, i will go 2.3 turbo, or maybe a lightly built 302, but for now, its gonna be a 2.0, lightly modified..., for the rear discs, can i run unassisted brakes? would i need to flare my fenders or just buy wheels with less backspace/offset? could i still run my 14 inch wheels? what trim level were the panels off of? do they have power windows? (mine don't and i wanna keep it that way) once again, thanks for the information. i keep getting more ideas... if only the money never ran out! lol

BTW: i'm in the process of fabbing up a template for a center console out of cardboard... i'll post pics as soon as i can!

For the wheels I started with 15x10 in the rear and 15x4 in the front. Since I am lowering my truck i had to go with a 26" tall or less. I got bored with those and went to 17s however I I have no inner fenderwells in the front and the rear are cut out. But ford has a 14" wheel that is VERY light, its a 5 hole with small holes in between. For more flare I went with Bushwacker Extend a Flare. Intentions where to trim away the sheetmetal that you could not see from the flare covering it up along with triming the plastic and running wider tires. It looked cool as hell but I got a ranger gt body kit and they wont work with the gt kit. They are on nebraska omaha craigslist. It looked nice and wide when it was laying frame. Back spacing wise I went with a 4.5" but needed to go about a 6" bad news for you though is I am running a 4 link suspension. Just have to do some measuring to find out but its easy to do. For the window I really dont know if I am going to go power or not. I am running so much electrical hardware. I converted my alternator to a 135 amp and man is it a far cry from stock......so was the price...lol. oh for the brakes I removed the clutch pedal asm. and installed a regular one and removed all of the parking brake equipment....better for the strip. Forgot the trim package was a xlt ext cab truck w/out power windows. I might get rid of the mirrors and weld the bracket smooth and stuff cameras in the corners. My 86 ranger had chrome motorcycle mirrors using the ranger mirror base...looked so cool. If there are some parts you need let me know I have been working on the for over 6 yrs going so many different directions parts are stacking up and need to go...and yes please lets see the progress on the center console. Keep fab'in

i know i don't need a 4 link to run an expo axle, it's simply bolt on, just will lower me a little bit... will a set of 225/60-15s stick too far out of the fenderwells on a set of alloys from a 1990 crown vic? only reason i asked about the 14 inchers is that they're in immaculate condition and will be winter tires until i can no longer run them... i dont think the dakota digital gauges are gonna work (plus they're prohibitively expensive) so i plan to get a metric (140 km/h) overlay for my speedo, then get a ratio adjuster that slows down the speedo and converts metric to sae and gives me 140 mph! the rest of the gauges are fine... do you have an extra set of the door panels, preferably in red? id go for the mirrors but chrome is not my thing...

please don't laugh at my console...

the shifter will come through where i am pointing... sorry its not in the truck yet...

Sorry no doors or mirrors. That size should be ok just depends how low you are going to go. I drew it all out before I did and cardboard with length width height measurements, made it go easier and I could change it while I went.

i drew mine out too, but forgot to account for it sitting ON TOP OF the trans tunnel (facepalm) so i am having to change it a lot to get it to fit, and i haven't even measured where the shifter will be... do you know how much the expo rear end will lower me?

Dont know expo but a 8.8 is a 3" axle tube plus a touch more for the perch maybe 1/4. I need to put more pics on here. Funny but talking to you about the center console stuff wants me to make a different one for mine. I just cant leave it alone.

so it'll lower me roughly 4 inches? i'll need to lower the front bout 2 to look right, correct? go for it- the worst thing to happen is you make the console better... one question: where do you get your fiberglass?

Well i guess thing change now. Going to make a new center console that has a place for the air ride controls and radio and a custom glass head liner to hous the faceplate of the radio and the air ride gauges....maybe gauges will go in the center console. Any suggestion will help!
