best car alarm for the money?

whats the best car alarm money can buy? I dont want a really annoying (ie super sensitive) car alarm because i go to college and people will be close to my truck. I had a Clifford on my last truck and it was garbage, it would go off when it rained, but i used a sawzall on the bed to cut the fenders off and it didnt go off.

Clifford is actually one of the best car alarm brands out there. Your shock sensor likely was not adjusted correctly and/or improperly mounted, both of which are issues with the installation and not the alarm itself.

i have clifford arrow 5 with starter kill, pieazzo, and keyless. it is a kick ass alarm. it is not sensitive to the sound but to the touch which makes it not annoying in any regard.
