A leaf spring upside down, would be almost like having no spring at all.

What ever you do don't flip your leafs, they were not made to be installed upside down.

ok. i won't. i figured that it was n't good but some said u could so i ask ed just in case. yeah well i'm gunna do the flip kit and rear hanger to get my 7-8 inch rear drop.or should i get droped leafs. which will give me the best ride. new dropped leafs and flip kit or hanger or the stock leafs and both flip and hanger kits.

Do the flip kit. It will give you about a 4-5 inch drop. If you want to go even lower then get some lowering blocks, i believe you can get them in 1 or 2 inch sizes. Keep in mind, if you go lower than just the flip kit, your going to need to install a bolt-in c-notch to have any kind of decent ride. Also, look into some belltech nitro-active shocks. They are a little more pricey than reg drop-shocks, but they ride great.

yeah i got a bolt in c -notch, lowered beams, 2 dropped front springs and flip kit off of people on here. I am going to buy the belltech nitro shocks. now should blokc the bak to get my 5/7 or flip the hanger in the rear. which would be a nicer ride or better for my truck. Thanks guys

Either one should be ok. I'm right now running a hanger flip and blocks and flip kit with my mono leaf. Either way your going to get the same drop. Personally I would go with the hanger flip cuz its free. Also you will need a c-notch, if you don't have one you ride will be crappy.

Mono-leafs? From an Explorer or are they custom?

couldn't you just unbolt the leaf pack and pull all but one leaf to thus be a monoleaf.

Yes you can, but guys YOU DON't want to lower a truck by running a mono leaf. The ride isn't that great on air, much less static. The best thing for him is to buy a flip kit and then flip the hanger, 7" drop right there.
